Hi guys just a quick question looking at coming over to 1/8 Rc brushless.

Need to know is it 3s or 4s lipo you ar using ?

And what is a pro ESC and motor combination ?

Cringing at the next question lol

Do you run boost and turbo timing like 1/10 touring car ?

Currently was racing 1/10 touring car indoor always fancied ago at 1/8 brought a nitro buggy 1/8 but brushless is more my scene.

My local club all have nitro so they would not know the answers.

Thanks for help in advance cheers steve

I think you will need 4s for most racing
Good combos really are what you want and what you want to pay for. If you can get one inside the UK then the warranty etc is good to have.

You can't really go wrong with the hobbywing combos 120A SC or 150A
Tekin, Viper, Toro, Orion,Castle there are several other good brands.

Turbo and boost is preference based and how you like the feel etc. Gear it right and you won't need it but using 1/10 offroad stuff I have found that sertain combos and gearing work better with timing and boost. I have found some running cooler and others that ran hotter.

You just need to have a play with it yourself and check temps
