FS: For all you vintage racers out there

Hi guys, Since I know there are some old Yokomo (and Tamiya) fans out there, I wanted to offer these up. First let me let you know that these ARE NOT what I define as reproductions, these ARE re-releases, as they will be coming from the ORIGINAL molds of which I now own. In regards to quality, I PROMISE you other than knowing that they are coming from the year 2008 and they will have protective film on the outside, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between an original and my re-release...... all the detail will be there, which is very important in a quality body. I told myself I wouldn't do them without achieving the best quality possible. The following are available:

ALL WILL INCLUDE WINDOW MASKS.
- $45.00 USD Yokomo RPS SE (w/repro RPS logo sticker sheet included, but not shown)
- $35.00 USD Yokomo 834b FUNCO - almost the same body as the Wonder Fighter, just missing the scoop
- $35.00 USD FUNCO Single Seater - a variation of the Rough Rider that does fit the RC10
- $35.00 USD FUNCO Double Seater - Version 1 (for the RC10 and others)
- $35.00 USD FUNCO Double Seater - Version 2 (same as above)
- $35.00 VW Baja Buggy - a variation of the Sand Scorcher

Shipping, US: Based on one item and will include delivery confirmation. More than one, I will calculate per the usps site and update it accordingly

Shipping, International: I will ship first class when I can..... higher weight and larger boxes might force Priority International. Will be quoted on an individual basis and I will use usps rates.

Timing: I have them available and ready to ship right now.

Pics of the above listed bodies are below. Any questions, please ask, don't be bashful. It is probably best that you contact me via emai (of which I believe is available through the forum). I don't check my PMs daily.

I will have some reproductions coming soon and will update you all real soon with those.

Thanks in advance.

Jay

Ben, aren't you too young to be spouting anorak-facts, I thought only us old farts had the monopoly on stuff like that :p.

Nice shells Mr.Lexan. Is the RPS shell more expensive due to the stickers? is it possible to get this one sans stickers because I designed the rps logo up a few years ago and made my own stickers for a restoration buggy. I've got tons of rps 834b parts but no decent shell (apart from one in the new kit)

mrlexan 16-10-2008 10:21 PM

Jimmy, yes I can reduce the price if you are not interested in including the sticker set. If so, the price of the shell will be the same as the others listed. Any other questions, let me know.

Thanks all!

Jimmy, did you get yours? Comments?

I have more surprises coming this week for any other vintage guys out there.

Just to say, I have been dealing with Jay for quite a while now on another forum, and he is a top bloke, I own quite a few things from him, and you know how I like my vintgae stuff.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Got my RPS shell and yes it's fantastic! I've got a brand new RPS kit and this shell is exactly the same, but better! I'll use it on my restored rps dogfighter someday.
