But out of stock. you are locked into the sanwa receivers however, which aren't cheap if you have a few cars.

Another options is picking up a used KO Esprit 2 or Esprit 3 Universe 40mHz set and converting it to 2.4GHz with the FrSky hack module. Receivers are £13 each then, hack module ~£20.

KO do have a new one coming, but it won't be budget price.

Have a look at the sanwa gemini x 2.4ghz less than £200 and a awesome handset

I've owned a Uni 3 for years now and love it... I did buy a Exzes Z but couldn't get on with it.. looked a bit cheap in my eyes, even though it really wasnt!!!

Might know where there is a mint UNi3 for sale too

I recently switched from the Tamco stick tx (same unit different branding) to the Sanwa Exzes X and all I can say is wow, what a difference it has made

worth every penny in my opinion

in stock now at PBM Racing

Yes and at £299 now so well worth it but if money is the issue the gemini x has the same technology but a few less features that you wouldn't use in electric car racing but having said that the exzes does feel awesome in the hands really comfortable feeling

I've got the Gemini X and I'd definitely buy it again.

ive been using a futaba 3vc for 10 years now and never had any problems with it,updated it with a spektrum module and thats about it,can be bought for as little as £40 2nd hand and better than the 3vcs in my respect as the model memory is easier to use..failing that look out fot an old futaba ff3 £10-£20 2nd hand does most things the 3vc does and it to can take the specky module

can't come soon enough for me, any idea when?

due to binding issues with my KO, had to change about 12 months ago (as no alternative but to go Sanwa) and still not really comfortable, despite fiddling around with stick length, angles, etc.

even considering biting the bullet and going steerwheel!

Same same I ended up with a DX4s and actually happy with it but would love a new KO stick set even though I'm expecting a £500 starter price,

I had a futaba ff3 for 20+ years and still love them to bits had loads of problems with spektrum and frsky modules so ended up with a gemini x awsome bit of kit and no problems rx are a little pricey but never had any problems

I had a Futaba 3GR Fasst set of sticks that I bought off one of the guys at my old club. Sold (stupidly) all my rc gear a couple of years ago and now I am getting back into racing, I could't resist getting a new set of the 3GR sticks and the R603f receiver... they work perfectly and never let me down.... It's personal choice, when it comes down to spending your own money. You've got to be happy with what ever transmitter/receiver you choose to use.
I've never got on with the whole 'wheel' thing...but, many people do and to great effect.

The only thing I would say is a must, is the 2.4ghz signal. The rest is up to you and your wallet
