gear mesh and max pinion size?
 

whats the largest pinion you can safely put in the cat K1 aero ?

mine came with a 25t pinion and im running the standard spur gear and the gear mesh seems to be too tight. the car is quiet but the motor and esc start warming up quite fast.

i am running a hpi flux 10.5t and this is my first comp 4wd buggy.

any suggestions on what to do as i cant get the motor to slide back any further.

smaller pinion? if so, how much smaller?

What size is the kit spur?

The manual states a minimum combined tooth count for spur and pinion of 109 to Max of 122.

The largest pinion you should be able to fit is a 24t with the std 98t spur change it to a 95t
