Race & Raise Good Friday April 18th 2014
Hi folks,
To say we have been blown away by the amount of entries for Race & Raise is an understatement. So far we have 45 drivers! The proposed order of the day is: (subject to minimal change) Session 1 (approx times) 11.45 Doors open. Booking in open. Please book in promptly. 12.15 Drivers briefing 12.30 Heat 1 Round 1 We will aim for 5 rounds plus finals. There will be a tandem race practice run after round 3. God help us! Finals Tandem race Trophy/Easter egg presentation 1 5.30/ 18.00 Tea Time. 1 hour break. Chippy/ Chinese/McDonald's run! Session 2 18.30 Booking In open. Please book in promptly. 19.20 Drivers briefing 19.30 Heat 1 Round 1 Finals Trophy/Easter egg presentation 2 Please note we will be running mixed class races based on drivers ability. This method has proven popular lately. Please remember to park on the car park and respect the local residents by arriving and leaving quietly Cheers The Race & Raise Team |

Hi folks, As of now we are no longer accepting entries for Race & Raise. We have been inundated with entries in the past 24 hours and as a result we have had to cap the event. This has meant turning away drivers. It is our duty to find a balance between value for money for those who have booked in and raising revenue for our nominated charity. We hope all those who have been unable to get their entry to us by now understand this situation. Due to the lack of interest, the vintage class has been removed from the event. how many are booked in for the afternoon session and the evening one. no real need to publish names of drivers booked in to race

yeah, pretty sure it goes against BRCA guidelines to display the entry lists before events. But showing results after is no problem. Go figure.
There was a long debate about this somewhere else on oople. Its all to do with data protection and a little to do with child protection, so to make sure we don't flout any rules we wont be posting it. sorry to disappoint! |

we have 6 heats in both sessions including micros, mixed 1/10th 2wd/4wd and trucks so 48 drivers per session :thumbsup:
