210 rear wing

Hi, I am in need of a new wing soon and i'm curious as to what other makes/styles of rear wing people have tried and what their experience was weather good or bad.

Also on a side note, has anyone had trouble fitting the rdrp +8mm wing mounts? I found if bolted to the gearbox then the holes didn't line up on the shock tower(too high) and if screwed to the tower first then the lower mounting holes didn't line up with the gearbox

Cheers

Cool thanks, anyone tried those rdrp wing mounts?

I used those wing mounts with a rear cf tower and they were fine.

has anyone tried the plastic sworkz wing?

I've previously used the LMR Electra wing. Cracks early, but carries on for ages before it dies.

Rudebits R1 seems to be even better, especially as you can get 4 for 20 quid.

It seems to be what i've now settle on (got half a dozen in stock, and them fitted to all my 10th buggies!)

Oh, i've had no issues with the RDRP (+8mm, Mid Motor) wing mount either, just goes on. And thats with carbon (cream IIRC) towers, an RDRP aluminium one and the stock plastic ones......

I got one, but didnt run it, i like the straight wings that durango make! you will never break the sworks wing, its like an 8th wing, you'll probably break your car/wing mounts first haha

I use the Upgrade RC wing. Very thick, takes a beating. I used the RDRP mounts and had to modify the stock plastic tower for them to work. Or you can modify the mounts them selves. It's been a while but I believe the mounts are square were as the location on the tower has a fillet or radius in that location causing it to not sit properly. Look at it closely, you should be able to pick it up. Good Luck!

Thats what I noticed too, I wasn't sure if I was trying to fit them wrong as I bought them second hand, I ended up drilling the tower, im going to pick up a talon wing to try. I will report my findings
