WRCA Micro Inter Club Competition 2008/2009

The WRCA will be co-hosting a Winter Indoor Micro Interclub Championship at 3 South Wales venues together with a guest appearance at Hereford. The series will consist of 5 rounds starting on the 19th October 2008 at COBRA and culminating at the FTX Welsh Micro GP on the 8th February 2009 at Cardiff.

Each round will consist of 3 rounds of qualifying and two finals. Each final will be awarded a score based on your qualifying position plus your final position. The Championship will be based on the highest 6 scores from a total of 10.

The new WRCA Micro Rules (which follow closely the recommendations of the BRCA Micro Section) apply to the competition.

Whilst focusing on the Micro scale,1/10th Buggies are also invited to enter with rules are being kept to a minimum. Classes for 2 and 4wd will be run and will allow the use of Lithium Polymer cells of 7.4 volt nominal capacity. The 2s Lipo Cell must be hard cased, and charged in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.

The WRCA STRONGLY RECOMMENDS the use of a “Fire Sack” whilst charging any Lithium Polymer Cell. Motors will be open with car weights in accordance with BRCA.
