TRF501X Chassis Dimensions
 

Hi,

I am currently working on a new chassis plate for my TRF501X, so it can hold Trakpower saddle pack cells.

I just have a few questions for you guys (just to check the dimensions I measured)

- Front / Rear Alu bulkheads 24 mm apart ?
- Center Alu bulkheads 30 mm apart ?

I was planning on making a wider chassis plate that just fits the undertray, so the trakpower cells would fit without having to dremel to upper chassis plate. This also means repositioning the battery stand holes etc...

Any ideas on electronics placement thing you would change if you could ?
I was thiking of recessing the Servo placement towards the back so the arm linking the servohorn to the steering arm assembly is also straight in neutral position.

Any ideas are more then welcome
