Ace servo's
Any one know what servo arms/savers fit Ace 1015 servo's.
|
same as Hitec but some arms like the xray ones are a tad loose & strip easy!
the Associated ones are a much better fit  |
Futaba ones are the closest spline, they are however very slightly different which makes the ace ones unique. Do you not have any of the horns you got with the servo ??
Jimmi.... |
I've used Futaba with no problems, not sure if the spline is slightly different or just tight?
|
futaba ones do fit, some fit ok but ive had a couple that dont fit too good either.
xray ones can be a sloppy fit on them,im using a plastic purple fastrax futaba one on mine for steering..about 3 yrs old now and still perfect. best to use the ace ones if you have tthem tho. |
actually you guys are right its the Futaba ones that fit not Hitec
well i knew it wasn't KO lol i had to go down & check:blush: |
i'm sure i have the std(xp) ae ones on mine, use the one that came with it would be the best bet:thumbsup:

The Dynamite alloy arms are good (futaba fit), I have them on my Hyper 8.5 and no problems - and they come in a variety of colours :)

Thanks for the info guy's. Servo's were 2nd hand and did not have any arms with them. Will get some Futabu ones to try. |
If its going into a 10th car you will probably be fine with the futaba ones, however if its for 8th you need to give them the best chance possible so i'd suggest some aluminium or genuine ones.
I have boxes of ace servo horns as i have been through a lot of them this year, if you drop me your address ill be more than happy to stick some in the post for you. Jimmi..... |
Hi Jimmi.
Thanks for the offer and info on the Ace servo arms. I have ordered some Dynamite alloy ones as they are going into my 1/8 Rally crosser. |
