Yokomo YZ10 '94 diff building questions

So every time I pick up this build I get owned in some way!

I have some questions.

Which way do the diff plates face? Shiny side facing the diff balls or dull side?
I assumed it was the dull side facing the balls.

How many balls should go in the thrust race?
Think I put 8 in but there were lots of balls left over.

What is the part number for the thrust race screw set?
I have used ZC508 but the screw is way too long. I'm thinking the MR4 screw would fit ZD508

I think the wrong screw was why I could not get the diff right. It was either too tight and wouldn't move or too loose but felt horrible and uneven.

For what really should be a simple build I'm making a proper meal out of this one :)

I ain't 100 sure on the diff rings but I look for the side with a circular groove if that makes sense.

I always use 8 thrust balls - as per manual.

Use zc-507 (thrust washer and balls) with zc-508 (thrust bolt)

You should notice that the screw has a little bend in it. This is
normal and is to prevent the diff unscrewing itself! Don't
Overtighten either otherwise the screw has a nasty habit of snapping!

Its ZD 508 on the bolt, you can cut a ZC and bend i think though, thats pretty easy, but its not hard diff to build just take your time buddy, just don't over tighten. Polish your diff rings anyway, smoother the better!
