Stan's No-Tubes - bit of a fiddle to fit, but once on just forget. Haven't had a flat for three years. Pick the thorns/splinters out of the tyre once I get home; more comfort, more grip, no pinch flats; better tyre wear, no flats.

I can vouch for Stan's, best thing I ever bought for my MTB! Well worth the chew on fitting them!

Fair enough, but i think i can beat that. Was on a bike ride with my cousin just cause we got bored, we then decided to go to roseburry topping which is bout 8-10 miles away. By the time we were just bout there we had through quite some rough stuff as we decided to go a different way than we normally would, anyway almost there when pop. Got a puncher. So we locked out bikes up and went for a climb, as we were pretty much there. The only thing was my mum wouldnt come and pick me up, so i had to walk back with my bike bout 8-10 miles in the pitch black as it had gotten soo late. Wasnt the best pleased  But got an ice-cream on the way back though so that was good :woot:

I'm glad you beat Bens story, it was a bit naff to be honest. His didn't have ice cream in or anything.

Northy 14-10-2008 05:48 PM

It was the ice cream part that made it for me tbh. :)
