Gt12 and lmp12 endurance race
 

Been thinking about this for a while
A endurance race based around the 1:1 wec
Lmp01 mod open
Lmp02 17.5 boosted
Gt pro 13.5 stock
Gt am 17.5 stock
Run over 12 or 24hrs
Would any venues be interested in such a idea?

wycombe do a 12hr based on the gt12 so you could ask them

Can it think of one word with all those on a track at once, carnage.....way too much speed difference

slight difference of opinion to Mark

is that not the idea of endurance racing in 1:1 scale. to finish to the end and not bin it in the first five minutes of racing ?

In real endurance racing are different classes out on the circuit at the same time ?

I guess its driver consistency thats more important than a speed difference over a long race

and i guess Lee original idea would have "class winners" just as you do now


just an opinion fellas (i doubt with my skill id get to the end of the first straight never mind a 12 hour endurance event i do realise i wouldnt be expected to race all of it in one go !!
