RC10 B2 compatability Parts
 

Going to be using a Old B2 for a bit racing but could anybody tell me if the newer models parts are compatable with the older B2.

The only ones would be the B3 ones i would expect, although i never ran a b2 so cannot be 100% sure if/how many are exchangable.

Pete who runs a shop at york club still has some B3/B2 parts if your just looking to replace bits

I've got a box of B2/3 bits I can bring to York if you like to have a look through :)

I still race my old B2 buggy and unfortunately no B4 parts can be used on the B2 (ok, ok, except, bearings, screws and so on...)

However almost all B3 parts are compatible, I know it's already old, but you can find them less harder.

Only a couple of notes:
- The B3 front suspension arms fits with no modifications, but only if you change both, because the front cross brace is forwarded.

- The B3 rear suspension arms fits, but you have also to change the rear hub carriers (because the arm is longer and the hub have a different offset). No need to change the cvd/dogbone .

If you know a good Thunder Tiger (AE) shop you can also search the spares for the AT-10 Phoenix buggy, actually a re-branded RC10B3 ;)!

Thanks for the replies guys, it would just be incase i broke somthing fingers crossed shouldnt be anything major just the arms/ common parts.

If you go to the support and downloads section on RC10.com Associated have parts lists on there, usefully there is a column at the end that gives you a list of the other AE vehicles the parts are used on.
It's not 100% accurate, but you can search on it and compare the lists for B2, B3 & B4, etc to check for sure.
