best 2wd short course truck for racing on astro + clay?

Hi,

I'm looking for a short course truck for racing the SCT Cup this season. Tracks are both clay and astro so which 2wd truck would be the most suited for both high and low grip conditions?

Thanks! And if you have a truck for sale in very good/ like new condition let me know per pm ;)

ran a losi 22sct for a few months, great truck, but in our region we ran 2wd 4wd together and it was like taking a knife to a gun fight:lol: so sold it:(

Got to say the 22SCT - I love mine and will happily take on 4wd with it

Don't run one myself but there are a lot of people using the Durango at worm and tiverton aswell as the Torquay indoor winters and I must admit they seem to take a real beating and don't think I saw one break the only upgrade was alloy rear hinge pin brace as plastic ones flexed and the arms came out but they never broke, so if I was going to get one the Durango would be my choice

Durango it is... plus it's half the price of a 22SCT :D

The Durango is lighter and more nimble than the 22. Especially in Mid-motor version in Astro or carpet.

Any thoughts yet of Kyosho SC6?

I've got a Durango and kyosho both good for racing bashing only broke rear hinge pin now its ally and the parts are easier to get hold of. I would go for Durango 2wd desc210r mate its never let me down and I race hard !!

Do people have problems with the ball cups on the durango? If so how do you solve them popping off every 5 minutes.
