Motor choice

Reventon pro 1.1 esc, looking for a good sensored brushless that works best with this.
7.5t and doesn't cog heavy like the sp v3 ones.

I'm using a Thunder Power 7.5 in my SV2, and find it very smooth. You're welcome have a try at the next series round.

Well really any of the motors that are available no are worth while.
Are you sure that it was the motors problem with cogging? Im pleased with the SP motors Ive used

No cogging issues with my SP V3 motors either. Are you sure the sensor leads and boards are in good condition?

Sorry i dont mean cogging as if running without a sensor lead or a faulty phase, i mean on a v3 turning the stator on the motor it's magnetically resistant.
I would think this gives a little amount of drag and makes it a little noisier than others.

Thanks chris see you there !

You want that magnetic resistance. It means the motor is powerful. It doesn't affect the car in a negative way.

Nope. That's the internal workings of the motor, no magnets, no worky.

Some motors have less pronounced steps, but that's just a feature of the design/manufacture. Makes little or no odds to drag/resistance/losses.
