Tamiya 511 + spares
 

For sale my much loved Tamiya 511. I've had the car for 2 years but a new sponsor for this season forces sale. The car is very good condition though and runs perfectly, I gave it a mid season extensive rebuild last year just after which I had to take a bit of a break from racing so its only be used once since.

The car has the following new or mods from standard;

Gear diffs front and rear with new centre drive pulleys 2 meeting old. These have different diff seals and do not leak at all
12deg front alloy hubs 3 meetings old
+ 0.5 deg rear alloy hubs 3 meetings old
The fancy smooth 'gold' shocks 3meetings old
Front and rear driveshafts 3 meetings old
AE Factory Team titanium turnbuckles and losi ball ends
Associated spur gear and slipper spring
Alloy steering bell cranks
Hex screws throughout
Harder strengthened front wishbones, softer strengthened rear wishbones
Associated alloy servo mounts

Car is setup to race and is the best car on high grip I've ever used.

I've seen some feedback on here for used cars when people seemed to presume the car would be as new so in the interests of being 100% honest I'd like mention it isn't a shelf queen, the bottom of the front and rear alloy braces are scuffed and it could do with a new front bumper. Some of the other alloy bits are a bit scuffed including the battery posts (so they are sharpied). The chassis has just a few marks on it having always been used with a chassis protector.

As you can see there is a LOT of USED spares with it including two ball diffs in excellent condition, they have ceramic diff balls and TOP Racing thrust races. There is a new gear diff rebuild kit with out drives and loads of decent ball diff bits. The original shocks are included though one shaft is missing, a full spring kit and lots of bits of various hardware.
