best cheap 1/10 2WD for astro?
looking for a good bang for the buck buggy that can be fast on astro tracks
I'm a smooth driver so I rarely break but it needs to be as strong as the others any suggestion? |

Hobao H2 pro Builds in Rear/Mid motor and has big bore shocks and gear diff as standard shopping around can get a kit for £115 |
2nd hand C4.1
Sold one a few weeks ago for £70 |
there are good chances it will be bought 2nd hand indeed
let's say around 100£ budget is the centro better than a sv2? |
centro 4.1 definitely good value but gearboxes are out of production from centro/cml now
have heard a few have had them fail i have bought a new spare 3d printed set for less than 15 pounds from an oopler on here who is making them (there is a thread somewhere) not needed to use them yet just woth bearing in mind SV2 also good choice TM2 becoming available at that price even cheaper tco2 team c cars cheers dave |
thanks, I'm considering the TM2 also :)
not so sure about that but I think there are two different versions out, will need to check |
yep team c tm2 v2 is now available
|
good to know, generally I rather buy a v2 buggy because it's rare that the very 1st version of a car is trouble free

Cars...
Not everyones cup of tea, but the TLR 22's do have alot of strength in them! A whole year and didnt even break it once. Or the SV2; very strong and nice to drive, also have 2 of them up for sale;) But very strong durable cars.

I had a SV2 a few months ago actually and sold it because I thought the local track (Merchtem in Belgium) would continue to allow 1/8 ebuggies to run.. but I just learned it won't be the case anymore this year :wtf:
so basically I have 3 new 1/8 ebuggies but can't use them on this track and in the same time I don't have any "legal" rc to use there  so now I need to buy some rc again... maybe a SV2.. again wondering if there is anything more suited for astro tracks for 100£ I have loads of Schumacher parts but not enough to make a car the KF is more dedicated to astro and SV2 more versatile, is this right? |
I just got an sv2 as i tried one out on astro in the summer and loved it.
Not much experience but i know what i like. |

TM2 all day long Well priced and would be good value at double the price, very drivable straight out of the box , works on astro wet and dry and on carpet excellent all round car,and very robust
|
I agree the tm2 is a great car, I've had one for 8 months and not found any major problems.
