Will that type of battery last a full race meet before it needs recharging? Dont know the first thing about the type/spec battery i would need? How do you go about charging that particular battery

12v battery

Should last for a meeting say 5 charges these batteries are for a Ring power pack which uses 2 of them I bought them for my old power pack which lasted 2-3 meeting just use any car battery charger to charge them, if you had 2 I've got cables to wire them together giving you double 40amp hours.

The usual choice is a 12v leisure battery. These are happy to accept deep discharge, and won't fail early like a car 12v battery. You get what you pay for - this one lasted me over five years regularly racing and running six charges a meeting and the odd use of a 12v iron. HTH :)

Get yourself to a caravan shop. I picked up a 100ah leisure battery that was a trade in. Works perfect. £
25 quid :)

I had a decent 100 ah leisure type 12v. Lasted a good 4/5 years. Minimum of myself charging, usually 2, sometimes 3 people charging off it. So upto 15 charges in a day ish. Also used soldering irons etc.
Mine eventually died through neglect more than anything else.
Looking around for another at the mo. I'll do the same again, pay around £80 or a little more.
