Any tips on this 210 problem?

having ran the 210 for a bit now im still finding the shafts falling out of the outdrives. i have screwed the droop screws down so its lifting the wishbone up to help the problem it helps slightly but they just keep on coming out after a landing of a jump and hard cornering.

why on earth they do not extend the shafts and outdrives a few mm,s is beyond me. its not as if the bone moves in and out when the suspension is travelling anyway.

any help or advice i will try, anyone else found this problem.

It can be an issue with certain droop/camberlink setups. TD have released optional longer outdrives #TD310417 that do solve the issue.

You can run 2-3mm limiters in the rear shocks, Have found that it isn't bad either

+1

Seams to be the best solution after doing a lot of research on the problem

Or run the geared diff which has the longer outdrives as standard

More expensive but more reliable and means you can run as much droop as you want with out limitations of the out drive s;)

The long ball diff outdrives are only slightly longer, but EXACTLY what you need. Alternatively, the gear diff already has longer outdrives (the same geometry as the long ball diff outdrives). I've never run anything else than long outdrives and never had problems with driveshafts popping out :)

excellent, thanks lads. looks like ill get the longer outdrives then, did consider a gear diff also.

limiters in the shocks are the same affect as using the droop screws onekiwi but thanks.

cheers lads .
