Nosram Motor Timing?

Can anyone tell me what timing insert is fitted from the factory on a Nosram Pure 2 evo 7.5 motor?

The insert on mine is marked 27.5 and I know you can get a range of timing inserts, but dont know if my motor has the "standard" one fitted or one of the options?

If this is the same as the LRP x20 then 27.5 is the standard insert. All the other inserts add more timing but I would suggest leaving well alone.

Thanks mate, that helps. I'm not looking to advance the timing, just wanted some confidence that the timing insert fitted was the one that came as the "out of the box" setup.

Another question, the instructions say "don't run aggressive advanced timing speed control profiles" with these motors.
Whats your experience of that?
With my speed passion motor I ran the maximum advance profile on the Reventon Pro ESC, which applies 26.5 degrees of dynamic timing.
Would that be a problem with the Nosram / LRP?

The Nosram / LRP motors are MUCH more aggressive wind for wind than say a speed passion, I would say a 7.5 is equivalent to a 6.5 - 6.0 speed passion, adding more timing either motor or speedo will just make it more aggressive and run hot.

I would start with 0 deg of timing on your speedo, if you feel the need to add any timing then you can add say 5 deg or so.
