Just a note.. Johnathon told me the engraved 's4' in the front shock tower won't be in the final kit as it costs quite alot to do.

Enjoy!

Slimboyfat 12-11-2006 10:28 PM

looks very impressive.

I must say that the engraved 'S4' is tres cool, definatly some good quality bling about it.

looks ace, although the front shock tower looks like a frog:)

craigosh 13-11-2006 12:57 PM

Will that front tower work with the associated shocks ok? It looks nice and beefy, which is good as i keep breaking the standard jconcept ones...!
Are they gonna be released soon :-D

Chris Doughty 13-11-2006 01:17 PM

Losi and AE front shocks are the same, so Yes, it will work with the AE shocks on a standard BJ4

OldTimer 13-11-2006 01:22 PM

Craig, the front and rear towers fit the standard BJ4 AE shocks, the front and rears are both from 4mm carbon fibre, and i have them in stock at the moment.

The S4 towers do use revised shock angles which are different to the standard BJ4 setup, but i can give you the setup we use with the Losi shocks and convert it across to the AE shocks.

Great!!!!

Best chasis I ever see! I really like it, the curved walls have to make wonders in terms of rigidity and durability.

Really good job. Could you make something simillar for Yokomo MR-4BX? I like your job very much, but hate shafts.

burgie 28-11-2006 06:40 PM

looks very "exotic" but i can't help thinking what a nightmare the batteries will be!

jcb 29-11-2006 07:02 PM

The batteries don't really cause any problems, you just build them up in sets of two, with a connecting wire to go over the shaft and a wire so that you can put the other two cells in the forward location.
