how old is it? / how much usage?

James 06-10-2008 01:13 PM

Its had about a years use - its operating time is 76.26 and the radio i replaced it with (an esprit 3) which i got in november last year has 60.02 operating time to give a comparison..

There's someone at York that might be be interested in that lot James :)

_sleigh_ 06-10-2008 01:43 PM

After the horror story I heard about Teddy's handset, I'm sure he'll be very interested.

James 06-10-2008 01:44 PM

Oh dear, what was that?

I reversed over my previous type r, hence the low mileage on the new one before i got the KO deal on my esprit 3 .. oops .. parking sensors dont work in all circumstances

_sleigh_ 06-10-2008 01:50 PM

OMG that's just horrific :o

Tony's troubles were all related to dodgy POT's, and it was causing over-run on his 8th. It gave him and Adam major headaches until they swapped the tranny as a last resort.

I've never driven over mine, but I have left it at home once. It was a long trip back to collect it.

Lee 06-10-2008 01:59 PM

I spent an hour looking for mine once in the garage to find out it had been nicked :woot:

I have seen people drop them off rostrums before though

_sleigh_ 06-10-2008 02:02 PM

I've seen one thrown off the rostrum at 3A raceway. It was well and truely "in the bushes" :woot:

Quality, i remember hearing about something like that, and then someone telling their dad to go and find it and fix it or something

I once saw a Lazer ZX drop kicked, highly amusing for a 12 year old at the time :woot:
