BMax4 III Steering Crank Post problem

During my today practice one of my steering crank posts broke in three pieces. Along with it the bearing on top completely dismantled. After further examination I noticed the screws that Yokomo uses for the assembly of the posts (M3 X 8mm). These screws are short, giving a gap between the top and the bottom screw of 8mm. This gap tends to absorb all the tension of the post. I have change the chassis side screw with a M3 X 16mm on both the posts hoping that my thoughts are sensible. I hope I helped.

Please can you show a photograph of the damage?

Do you mean the plastic cranks or the blue aluminium ones?
