Team Durango (app)lication?

Hello everyone,

Does someone know, if there exists an app for team durango cars, where you can fill out a setup sheet, or something else?
I didn't find something like this!?

I would like to start this thread also, if Team Durango can do/make that, for sharing, what would be nice to have in such an application!

Here some points, i would like to have:
  • Editiable Setup sheets for all different Team Durango cars

Download setup sheets from the pro drivers

Partslist with # and maybe a order-, or wishlist that you can print or export

Technical information for the cars, like internal ratio, gearing,
maybe some information, witch changes does effect different to handling

    ....

Sorry, for my bad english, i hope, everyone can understand!?

Regards Paul :D

all set up sheets are editable but you need a programme that can write instead of acrobat READER, you need acrobat pro or some other writable pdf programme

THere is an app for set up sheets.. RC car setup or something similar.
There are a few pro setups there and you can do your own.

I know, there are a view apps, like the "rc setup sheets", and i have that, but there is not a single Durango car in it and the newest Schumacher car is the cat3000 i found, and they are just scaned blank ones...

I would like to have a brand specific app, wich would be updated permanently and maybe with some nice features, like i wrote above, or we can discuss here in this thread, wich points people would like to have in an app like this!?

Would'nt it be nice, when you brake some parts at the track and you grab the last spare out of your box, to tab that in your app, like a wish-, or maybe a orderlist and you havent to think about it, or to search at home, what spares ar needed for the next raceday?
something like that, beside the setup sheets

I am working On an MS Excel sheet at the moment that has 9 Sessions.

Each Session has a setup sheet and a data logging page.

It outputs graphs that show you lap times over the session and end of run data.

All sessions are then compared to determine what each set-up change has achieved.

It is useful as a set up tester or performance indicator for a driver.

Interested in your thought please.

I did one of theses for the Supastocks guys and it worked really well.

Didn't really catch on so am weary of doing it again as It is about 90 hours of work to get it finished.

Thoughts please.... suggestions...

Sounds like a good idea. Might have to teach myself how to program apps :)

Yes, would be great work, if someone could do that!

Dreams go on, and one of the greatest features would be, when u have a problem, like the car pushes in corners, then u can type that in and there will be shown some solution, what you can do, to work agaist that.....

Edit: or a starting setup guid, like you fill in some basic parts, like track surface and some other major things, and it shows up a starting setup from where you can work on?

For someone like me, as i do just some clubraces every view months and as i'm realy not a good driver, things like that would be great!

There is no easy fix for anything. Sure the hudy book is a good guide and there are a few more tuning guides out there. But in reality, sometimes there is just no one setting.

Maybe Durango can include a setup guide, or quick tuning reference of changing a setting and its result. Or have it available online if it can't be included on the manuals.

the first feature that you described would be hard to implement, unless you had predefined "problems" and then your problem may not be there, if the user had to type in the problem with the car, it would cause lots of problems!

the thing where you fill in the track surface and say what car, and track size, would be easier to make into an app!
its just like

if (surface == dirt && car == DEX408v2 && track size == large){
display these setup sheets}

but i only know java language lol

It dont have to be that complicated, maybe in the app is just a setupguid included, like the hudy setup book, with different buttons and then u get the discription, what you can do, to solve the problem!?
