Vintage ultima questions
 

Along with my Vintage schumacher bug, I also have an Ultima bug too :D

Did any of the vintage Ultima's have slippers of any sort? I'm wondering what turn motor you could get away with? I guess the front end may need some weights!

Nope, none... unless you consider the ever-loosening balldiff a "slipper" ;)

The guys racing them in Japan at the vintage events prefer the 32 dp gears for racing: coarser but also stronger than 0.6 mod of the ultima pro etc.
(Though I have to say that 0.6 mod was pretty good and certainly better than the 48dp stuff I got from the US)

What motors do the guys run in Japan?

I'll have a complete body and wheel set from a Sideways for sale too

err, sorry I don't remember what motors they ran: I last raced with them about 5 years ago ;)

At yatabe arena the spec moter was a 27 turn yokomo for 4WD and 23 turn for 2wd, in vintage class I believe. Yep, that's brushed .
