x6 to x6 cube,
I currently run b4.1 with a load of spare parts.
I also have a x6, not sure if it's the 3 or 4, gear. Plus another one which is for spare parts on. Would I just need part no XFK031, to convert to a cubed, or is it not that simple.. Thanks |
It all depends on whether your original X - 6 was updated to 4-Gear. If so, the K 031 will have almost all of what you need, and you'll wind up with a spare nose piece, which is good. If my original X - 6 were 3-gear, I'd probably get the K 030 and convert my B4.

+1 if you get the upgrade then you have alot of spares ;-)

Any idea's is this the 3 or4 gear |
Looks like it's the 4 gear box, which side of the car is the spur gear on?

hi that is a 4 gear box. if you look you can see the 4 parts where the bearings are .

Thanks guys, I was as little unsure if the bottom cog where the dog bones were counted,
Yeh so I can go for the xfk031, |
also before you buy check your hinge pins are not bent. worth changing at same time if they are. Yes the diff is countered to make it 4 gear.

Hi Critch, the hinge pins are an X-Factory part, the standard ones are titanium, sold in singles, part number XF6141 (£3.29) or you do also now have the option of the tougher hardened steel versions, these are part number XF6143 and are sold in pairs for £7.59.
As confirmed by several others already, your car is 100% the 4 gear version and the XFK031 Upgrade kit will be ideal for this car to turn it into the X6 Cubed. Regards, Darren |
