How did I not hear about this before now

THEY'RE back. As in the abbreviation of THEY ARE. I am sure they all have a back (their back, as in a back that belong to them) although I am beginning to think that Clarkson in particular lacks backbone!

Been watching the end of some old ones on Dave waiting for other programmes. If they had stopped then, Spitting Image would have made a caricature of the programme that looks just like the ones they do now!

Hope all you die-hard fans enjoy yourselves!

(While I am annoying one of you, I might as well annoy both - If you're not first you're last. As in the abbreviation of you are, not your - belonging to you. I'll get my coat... :D :D)

(One more thing to put the tin lid on my pedantry - it is for the profit of the licence payer. The sales of these programmes and licences for copy-cat ones around the world make the BBC a huge profit. Last year, Clarkson is reported to have earned £12m from Top Gear and its spin-offs. Coat is on, just closing the door... ;) )

To be just as pedantic,:D Clarkson earned a fortune last year thanks to a £4.8m dividend from his share in the production company, and rest was a payment from the BBC to buy out his minority stake in the company they jointly owned. The BBC earned around £8m in dividends. In the future Clarkson will just be getting a standard presenters fee and the BBC will get all the profits.
