Hi Rob

Would suggest you invest in a My Laps "Harry" hybrid transponder - this willl stand you in good stead for you RC racing career. It will work at any other track using RC4 timing equipment. You can buy this direct from BBK Software @ £82.00 + post or they do appear on oOple/eBay second hand for between £55 to £65 + postage but they do sell very quickly!

It really depends on how much racing you plan to do and where.

We run an AMB RC3 timing system that will work with MRT transponders as well as AMBrc DP and AMB RC4 'Harry' transponders.

An AMB RC4 'Purcy' WILL NOT work at our club.
