just weighed mine on some kitchen scales, basic kit, no light weight items.

Fully laden with LRP sphere, spectrum micro receiver, futaba 9551 low profile servo, 5.5 motor and a core lipo...1720.

Does that seem heavy?

Lipo version, sanwa wrx, sphere, novak 5.5L PT, yeah racing 3200mah all = 1510grams. SRCC scales.
I`d say your scales are giving large portions.:cry:

Yeah, I could do with trying it on some digital scales really.
It 'feels' heavy too, which is why I weighed it really.

That was on the carpet, I've just weighed it on a hard surface and its 1680...still heavy compared to some.

Tyres were Yellow minipins, revlite wheels and kit inserts.

1680 with pins is probably not so bad, as they are a very heavy tyre. My MiMh car was about 1695 all summer on mine spikes.
