Blinky what?

Can someone explain to this older driver, what the heck is 'blinky mode' please?

It means the ESC is locked with no timing and no turbo.
Its mainly used in spec classes such as 17.5t etc.

the LED on the speedo blinks to tell you are the in that mode, hence blinky. its a no timing advance or boost mode. timing is fixed at 0 in blinky.
