IMPORTANT - TORCH Winter Series meeting postponed - no meeting this Sunday 26th Jan
 

Please note due to forecast weather the winter series meeting this Sunday is postponed with the replacement round to be held on Sun 2nd March.

There will be no racing this Sunday as we will be taking the opportunity this weekend to dismantle the current rostrum and install the new one.

As per Dan's maintenance thread all help on either Saturday or Sunday will be extremely welcome.

We aim to have the new rostrum in place and available for use for next week to allow racing to take place but this will be determined to some degree on the assistance and therefore progress we are able to make this weekend.

It is a shame but weather does look bad. Will be there tomorrow to give a hand with rostrum.

Totally the right call to cancel today's meeting, after spending the morning fighting the rain trying to get the footings filled before they flooded for the new rostrum, there was no way the track was fit to race on.
Thanks to the guy who brought down some lovely cakes his wife made, I almost forgot I was wet through while eating it.

Steve, we would love to see you on Saturday as we have much to do, hopefully we will be in a position to then race on Sunday. Steve Brown, Ade and myself will be trackside tomorrow to put the new rostrum into position on the concrete pads and hopefully install the handrails etc. Dan should be able to join us on Saturday and we hope to put at least one set of stairs in and generally get the rostrum ready to race. We also have some more work to do on the new drainage installed last week.

Look forward to seeing you on Saturday, I expect people will be onsite from around 9.

Might be able to pop down tomorrow afternoon as well. I'll give steve or ade a call to see if you're still there when I'm finished with work.
