kf steering hub height

what effect does lowering or raiseing the hub on the kf have ?

Are you talking about the washers which could be added in step 21?

With the hight you affect a change in bump steer. I did not change the standard setting, but my KF :wub has never seen something else than carpet.

i think he means the hub height washers which can be low medium or high by changing the configuration of washers between C Hub and hub carriers, kit configuration is one washer above and one washer below but you could put both above (low position) or both below (high position)

I have no idea how this would affect handling so hopefully one of our more experienced oOplers can advise, please

Thanks for the info.

We checked out the 3 different settings, but my son told me: no real change. So i put the change into "this box".

Maybe we have to be a bit more sensitive. Now we have, what he has to "look" after.

I did a bit of a test with this and found it to generally be that with hub low gave a bit less steering and hub high gave a bit more steering. I'm not really good enough a driver to be able to tell if it gave a bit more/less steering at exact points on different corners but find it can help if you want a bit of a tweak and it's quick to do.
