I guess this is the XX4 you are talking about ?
I've not seen many non-slotted chassis about to be honest - the only one I saw was at the weekend - but it had been machined and slotted anyway!

I guess it would be good for nasty conditions but then you can just tape over the slotted chassis.:confused:
