22 2.0 ride height

hi

having abit of trouble with my ride height

the maximum the front ride height will go is 19mm (this is with the collars down to the bottom of the thread on the shock body)

but with the rear the min is 19mm (this is with the collars at the top of the thread on the shock body) and i then can adjust the ride heighe if need be

but on the front i cant go any heigher than 19mm as there is no thread left on shocks

im running 4x55 hole pistons front and rear & 37.5wt in front and 30wt in rear

could anyone help what could be cauing this....shocks are built perfectly too running no rebound

thanks

What springs?
How many limiters have you in the shocks?

Forgive me if this may sound obvious but are you checking the height whilst the car is ready to run ? ie with the battery installed too ! As this would effect things without a doubt !

Hi

I'm running blue losi springs on front and sometimes black ones

To be honest there is either 2mm limiters or none...I can't remember but going to check after

Yep this is done ready to race with battery and shell

Thanks

If you release your front shocks from the wishbones have u checked if your wishbones move freely?

sometimes over tightening the grub screws which hold the hinge pin in place can make the wishbones move stiffly and limit the shock movement.

ive taken the grub screws out of the pivot block and snugged them back in but still alot of droop

wishbones are not stiff and free to moved

ive got 3mm limiters in the shocks too

shocks shafts are fine and not bent

im really stumped as to why the collars are all the way down just to get 19mm ride height

with the collars half way.....im getting about 8mm ride height

It's not the length of your shocks is it !
