Rear Wheels for 201
 

Are there other makes of rear wheel that fit the 201 without making it illegal? I'm thinking of the Schumacher pre-mounted wheels+tyres, as they are pin drive but I'm not sure of the offset.

Whats the reason for not running the tamiya rear wheels if you staying with pin fitment. Just curious Ian as the tamiya rear wheels are on ebay from uk. He has white and yellow.

AE B4 and JConcepts Rulux fit and are legal. I tried old-style Losi wheels too and they fitted, but I don't know if it widens the car.

An important note though: Tamiya uses 2.0mm pins for the wheels, B4 and Rulux wheels - in fact most wheels in general - use a 1.6mm (or imperial equivalent) pin. As such, you will stretch the plastic a bit over the pin and may stay a bit stretched after prolonged use on Tamiya pins. Just make sure the pin is in the slot before tightening and the wheel will be fine :thumbsup:

I'm not looking to change, but I am concious that they're becoming 'single source' i.e. Tony (who I've already got a few bits from) and was just looking at my options. :D

As I say I was looking into schumacher pre-glued as I'm lazy :blush:
