New to 4 wheel buggy ...I just got the S104 EK1 Pro kit ..I went with a Hobby Wing 5.5T motor are track is quite big with big jumps, hard pack, loose and astro what would be and good gearing to start with 21/87 or 20/87 and for indoor all carpet ?? any help would be greatly appreciated CHEERS !

That 20T or 21T is bang on: The info in italic was some info I wrote on another forum.

I am currently running 21/87 for a small to medium sized indoor track. I use 22 and 23 for more open tracks, but I also use a lot of dynamic timing (boost + turbo about 50° in total) on my 6.5 tekin Gen2, so if you would not be using timing I would suggest even 1 or 2 teeth more.

Should 22/87 be safe as well?

Yes, that one tooth will not be the difference between life and death.
