Them massive sigs!

Whilst I don't mind individuality nor run a police state, I do think some of the massive sigs are gettin a bit out of hand at the mo - no real problem for the forum or the server or the bandwidth - but it gets hard to read and ugly pretty quick when everyone has somet massive on the end of their post.

The time of reading a few posts on one page are rapidly going and you'll have to scroll a few screens down to see the next post soon! haha. :p
OK i'm joking, but please keep signatures small as possible otherwise I'll have to resize them miself to make things pretty again.

I'm talking about Text AND image sigs - the size that doughty / paul rotheram have done are OK.

Thanks
Jimmy ;)

They are roughly 50kb, small and dont take up much room.. perfect for what the man is after!

Dimensions: 500pix x 50pix

Updated my sig for added comedy effect.

I told my friend that at school! She used to be so gulliable, when I was telling her jokes or something she would put on a really shocked face and believe everything. So when I told her they had taken the word Gulliable out of the dictionary she looked all shocked :o and said 'REALLY, why?'
She is so funny (in a lovely way) and we are going to her birthday / housewarming party tonight, I can't wait :bom:

Sounds like my ex, she even looked.... also, I used to call a certain holiday resort as Shag-a-loof, she ended up asking my brother-in-law if he was going there on holidays. I don't think it was what she said, but her innocent looking face and then confusion when we all burst out laughing.

luvin the scenery and the aleximov jimmy. top stuff....your own work I take it?

I'm gonna have to get me a decent drwing tablet thingy...any recomendations?

PaulRotheram 10-11-2006 05:13 PM

Wacom :p

jimmy 10-11-2006 05:14 PM

Aye mate, I think an A4 size wacom is pretty ideal for this stuff, I use an A5 at home at the moment which is a lil small maybe but takes up less desk space I guess.
www.wacom.com
Expensive but really the only ones I'd ever consider buying.

telboy 10-11-2006 08:45 PM

aah!

is the volito any good?

Am I going way off topic here?!

jimmy 10-11-2006 11:41 PM

Looks ok, its a Wacom which is what counts. Looks small, but its quality. The modern pens I find a bit on the big side, they used to be slimmer.

Not sure what forums software you use but a couple of forums i go on have software/mod whatever it's called that just displays one sig per page per user. So if a user posts twice on one page you only see there sig once. Makes things a lot easier to read :)

Northy 14-11-2006 01:21 PM

Jimmy,

Why can we use the picture sigs we use on Doughty?

shinytopman 05-12-2006 12:24 PM
