Just out of interest.. Does anyone know the variation in track width achieved by stepping from one insert to the next, say out-B to A?

Hi Dan,

I've been playing with these myself went to silverstone over xmas and went to the extreme but didnt really notice that much difference also noticed that the inserts tend to jam in tight and when you push them out they go straight through the insert itself.

Think the general is that they are rarely changed only know that Nick changed from standard outside B to inside B for chadderton but not sure what he found with them.

Seems quite a funny car with some things making little difference and other things making massive differences

We need to grasp

(a) what altering the track width does
(b) highering or lowering the anti squat

Put a bit of silicone diff lube on each insert and they push out alot easier :thumbsup:

Narrow track = more side bite grip (fractionally reduced froward drive but I bet you don't notice in reality)
Wider track = less side bite grip

So if your struggling with rear grip then go narrow, if you want the rear to rotate more (i.e. Silverstone mega grip surface) then run wider.

what is the stock rear RB6 wide or narrow with the plastic hangers

I've not got that info to hand but it is on the instructions for the UMW7** ali hangers which I believe is copied up on petit RC.

Believe the difference between narrow and wide is 1mm per side.
