Cat SX LiPo
Does the lipo car have slots under neath the cells or is it flat carbon?
My lipos has notches on the bottom to locate into slots!! Paul |
The lipo chassis is flat carbon and has two slots in but they provide two cf slot locators to glue onto the flat side of a Lipo. Unfortunately is seems that they have not catered for the packs (Reedy) which already have location bumps on for locating in existing cell slots.

Can you get the bits of CF you stick to the LIPO as a spare part - I'm assuming most people have more than one pack and I can't see the part listed on their website?

I cannot see the part number in my manual other than the Lipo chassis part numbers. I have also looked at the Schumacher parts list on the website and cannot see anything listed that would match these small parts.
|
I assume that they are using the ones that they first brought out for the Mi3 - part number U3271 - Lipo Locators - £2.99 per pair (in stock if anyone needs some)
|
They are available, becuase i know people that have been using them in Mi3's for quite some time. I need to find part number as well, because i've lost the ones i had!

Ooops....... beat you to it Matt
|
You've saved me looking for Part No :D:thumbsup:

Or for lipo packs with the 6cell locations lugs on the bottom you could make a new battery bar and stop the lateral movement like this http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/i...50908_1757.jpg

Si, your a ledgend dude. That was something I was planning to do - you beat me to it, so I am keen to physically see your car.
|
What pinions would you be running with a 5.5 or 6.5?
The reason I ask is that, when I have the core lipo in the car, it stops the motor from moving forwards, so you would only be able to fit a small pinion on by the looks of it. |

Chris Long is running a 23t pinion with a 83t spur on a Novak 5.5R motor.
