The Hornet is finished
Just finished restoring my 1984 Hornet so thought I would upload some pics.
Work done includes new bearings, steering linkage, axle springs and wheels, I've stripped and repained the body + applied new decals. Not quite a shelf queen but not far off: http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4b084a52.jpg http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/...psca4cbcb9.jpg |
Shelf queen? What filthy words! ;)
I want to see that lined up for a Clubman final :) |

Any chance of another pic of that original 1984 carpet to go with the hornet?

We do, just some drivers ignore them but don't worry it'll be enforced for series 3. |
It will probably be quicker riding on a magic carpet.
Perhaps we should buy some pub carpet for the next series - a lot more interesting than racing on that grey crap! |
I also think we should ban girls' blouses from the rostrum, especially in the Touring class.
