What is high street alternative to shoe-goo?
I need to find something similar to shoe-goo from typical high street shops... what is good alternative?
I need a shoe-goo to repair my bodyshell. I can't order it online due to time constraints... If one of those high street shops sell shoe-goo.. that would be great. which shop? |

Don't know if you have Bison glue in the UK?
But over here we use Bison Rubber Repair. http://hwimages3.beslist.net/beslist...17/3817948.png |
Just a word of caution when it comes to this, whatever brand test it on the old shell or an old painted wing first. What I have found in the past that some brands once applied etches through the paint, causing it to lift.

Climbing shops do shoe-goo, angling shops do a wader repair glue called Aqua-Sure thats pretty reliable on most things, if not the easiest to apply.
But Im thinking that we are actually only gluing to the paint and not to the bodyshell itself? For really dodgy glueing jobs I used to use that expanding foam gear, but blatted into a tin and scooped out and used from there. I think Gorilla Glue is something the same and does seem to do well on most things. |
