Has anyone out there got a Novak 5.5 lite brushless motor for sale?

Nath, it's not the rotor that's different it's the windings themselves. So you can't make one into the other.

well ive just learnt summin new lol assumed it was the same as the nosrams/lrp where ya just change the rotor to get the feel you want

confused... this guy wants a 5.5L, so i thought what Nath has suggested is ok? To get that 5.5R and buy a L rotor?

the R & L rotor are the same 12.5 its the wires in the can that are thinner gauge, the L range being thinner to make it supposidly a smoother motor..

To overdo this for Stan ;)

The winding in an L and an R motor are different, this is what produces the different characteristics. The rotors are identical. There is no way to retrospectivley convert one type into the other.
