Update - what's on!!

Chadderton Round 3 - 15 December

I have updated the confirmed list of drivers for 15 Dec Chadderton meeting - please let me know of any change so that I can allocate reserves prior to the meeting (not much good on the morning of the meeting as drivers do not want to travel on the off-chance.).

Trackbuilding - 1.30 pm on Saturday 14 December 2013

Club Meeting - 8 December

12 noon for trackbuilding - had great meetings this indoor series - lots of really close racing.

Festive Christmas Meeting - 29 December 2013 (10 am to 6 pm)

This is a fun meeting!!
Enter 2wd, 4wd or vintage classes
Build a caravan or a trailer for the 10 minute display heat
One round of the meeting has no marshalls - if you crash you are out!

May incorporate other things too - still thinking about it - you might have a few suggestions.

We also fit in a few rounds of usual racing format.

January 2014 meetings

There will be no meeting on Sunday 5 January and 19 January 2014 (we are having a break!) so next club meeting is not until Sunday 26 January 2014.

Next Chadderton is 12 January 2014.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!

one race, or full 4 heats/final?
does my new re-release RC10 classic qualify?

Any date set for AGM?

Stephen Lawson 08-12-2013 08:15 PM

Hopefully a full heat as last year more if we get them, doing all 4 round and finals.

Yes rc10 Classic is allowed.

Cool, i'll run my RC10 Classic then. It goes well at York 540 class.

Does an Associated B3 or B2 count as a classic?

Or Schumacher ProCat?

Trailers - will a 1/10 replica of my Brian James car transporter count?

All the old cars are counted as "classic" or at least "vintage" ..! so yes..any of those..
Previously, "caravans" have included all sorts of trailers, from replica caravan/trailers to rubbish on two wheels..! So I am sure your car transporter will be ok,...:)

Do we have to book in or just turn up?

Chris B 19-12-2013 06:01 PM

Festive format

I wondered if reversed grids/ starting orders would be a fun idea for the festive meeting. Might mix things up a bit.

What does anyone else think?

Evening guys :)

Unfortunately I won't be there on the 29 for the festive meeting as we're down on the Isle of Wight visiting my folks and family in between christmas and new year.

But I would like to wish you guys and your families all the best for christmas and new year, and also to say thanks for the support you have given us over the course of this year, and will look forward in seeing you in 2014 :)
