XB4 2wd Bodyshell to fit XB4?

Hi.

Do the new XB4 2wd bodyshell fit the XB4?

Redbull8447 05-12-2013 06:46 PM

Yes but you have to get the 2wd front post as lower

Has anyone tried the DMX boby on 4WD XB4?
Thoughts and differences?

I really know that it has intended for 2WD. But is there a problem to use it in a 4WD? Jumps bad?

You could try it,It's not the most aerodynamic shell as its for a 2WD and weight is positioned higher.

yes pal the 2wd bodyshell fits. you just need to put the lower front body mount on or chop down the 4wd one like i did, you can always put shims back under it if you want to run the 4wd shell again

cheers gareth

Thing is though xray have put different shells on the cars for a reason
Plus i think the 4wd looks better not like anything else on the market and the dmx shell is very high which means more roll

gaz1318 20-02-2014 07:47 PM

but saying that, xray did release the dmx body as an hop up for the xb4 4wd.
as for roll, fair point but the hole bodyshell weighs less than 40 grams plus i think it looks alot cooler

The weight of the shell is negligible, the thing that changes the handling the most is the aggressive front window which will give you more on power steering and push the front end down more when doing jumps.
