No Shows at Round 2
 

We had 14 no-shows on Sunday which was very disappointing when I had drivers waiting to get in and would have taken places, even on the Saturday morning!

I know that sometimes emergencies happen which cannot be helped but I am sure there are others that could have let me know earlier.

Some places were taken on the day but we had 9 places still available.

Refunds cannot be given for any cancellations as we did not fill the places so entries cannot be transferred from round 2 to round 3.

For future reference - if you have booked in and know you are not coming to the meeting - please let me know asap so that I can try to fill your place.

I would have taken two classes on Saturday morning. I'd even bought tyres Friday. Was told I was last on reserve list, so made other plans to do stuff with the family on Sunday. I wasn't going to get up super early, travel, and not know if I'd get a place with four other people on the reserve list before me. As it happens I could have raced both classes last minute, but it was too late to change my new plans, without disappointing my daughter. I was cheesed off to say the least, and had to pass my tyres on to another racer going, as they are no use anywhere else. I won't be trying to book in again, will stick to local meetings. Sorry Dianne, by all accounts it was a good meeting as well.

I have a 3 month old daughter as well as my 9 year old and she wasn't to good and if I had know would have offered my place out for sure as I was looking forward to getting away for the day to be honest in future I will do my best to let people know but isn't always as easy iam sorry to say
