05.11.13 - New tyre available

A new Schumacher tyre is now available for the buggies part no. U6790, venom road tyre in white compound and works well with a tubby insert. These tires are also allowed to be used in the Saturday off road championship and should be available at race control this Friday.

:D

No additive in the Saturday championship.. Rob J ran his with no additive on a couple of club nights and he was still on the pace :)

just need to warm them a little before you start (not with tyre warmers either )

Rob J could run pink sugary doughnuts and he'd still be on pace... :D

The basin in the gents dispenses boiling hot water. Your tyres might need a good wash before every run ;)

The Doctor 05-11-2013 05:56 PM

He wasn't on my pace.

Dave Dodd 05-11-2013 08:49 PM

im looking forward to trying these, even if its only club nights :)

I just can't see these being anywhere close to pins in terms of lap time...the only advantage I can see these having is a lower wear rate...

Just my thoughts...I would like to be proven wrong though!

Received 10 pairs of the new tyre and the u6770 low pro yellow cut staggers which had been out of stock, this morning. Will have them with me this Friday at race control.

Cheers Dave :)

The only problems we have come across with the origional tyres are, they go out of shape quite quickly and accelerate transmission wear like you wouldn't believe (tm2) but the grip was awesome,(grip roll), i may have too come down and run my whites to see what the grip level is like with them.

I sell them from my shop & race control at wbmcc :)

Dave Dodd 14-11-2013 07:56 PM

used these tires last friday after running pins in the 1st round and found i was on the pace straight away.
a few more adjustments and i think i could push just as hard without the worry of major tire wear. :D

Do you have any stock at your shop?
