Which servo

Hi

Looking at upgrading from my durango rtr standard servo. Currently running indoors on astro with etronix radio equipment.

Had advice to go for Savox, any users of Savox with etronix radio equipment - any probs.......

Happy to take advice on other servos out there!!!!

Savox ok but xpert or hitec well worth it for just a little more but a quality radio was the best upgrade I ever made

Good quality servos are worth every penny. I currently use Futaba in everything, well I say currently but several are a decade old!

My current preference is the BLS551 for a do everything / fit everywhere unit.

I run a Savox 1258tg with Etronix / Code radio gear. It works ok, but on closer inspection is not very smooth. I think this is due to the current draw of the Savox servo and limited current coming from the receiver. I'm told this lack of smoothness / glitching can be resolved by adding a capacitor to the receiver. This is a typical problem with high current draw (i.e. high speed) servos and cheap radios I'm told.
