loose setup for geared diff?

Is anyone running a geared diff on loose setup?

I do on loose wet sand with 3000Wt. oil in it. works very well.

Have you tried any thicker?

I've tried 2k and found that the car diffed out on the high grip carpet so I wouldn't go any lighter on any surface because you'll loose drive.

3k was bang on even on the slippy stuff and the braking improved. High grip grass tracks is where I would be looking at going heavier no where else.

No I have not, I took an educated guess and it worked for once.
The car has steering but not enough to get me into trouble, A safe handling car, if you know what I mean. For competition it needs a bit of work (pistons, shock oil, shock springs and maybe diff oil) at the moment it sluggish and it's a fine, safe, fun handling car to throw around the track with friends.:)
