Try and find a DB01r, there a great club car which is easer to drive than a shaft drive DB02. I had (still have) 01r very forgiving to drive but a little high on maintance and sand and grit gets in to the transmission very easily and once had a bearing break due to sand trapped in the bearing and outdrive on the rear diff.

I bought one (DB02) for my daughter to race. I added a few hop ups, such as slipper clutch and universal joints on all drive shafts. So far it is running well with a 17.5T brushless set up. Easy car to drive as well. Since I was already running 502X, the DB02 seemed like a logical choice to share spare parts.
