Any help is greatly received thanks |
Look for a WLtoys V911. It's excellent.
Banggood has them: http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-RC...ter-c-264.html I've also just seen the 6 channel V922 is now out. looks very good. |

The 911, however, is pretty awesome and will get him totally hooked |
I have a raptor 50 for sale.... If heli is the route you want to go.... I say bigger is better for learning as they are not affected as much by wind etc.... I have been flying since I was 14.... Iam 33 now with zero smashes and I am self taught.
You can pick raptors up for around 250 and spares are readily available and fairly cheap. Mine has the quick UK swash plate upgrades and a tuned pipe carbon main blades... Complete with radio glow start, fuel, and a starter £275 Iam after a quad / hex copter to go with my FPV rig hence why the heli is going. The raptor series are very versatile and can cater for every discipline of heli hobby... From learning, to scale, to 3D Personally speaking electric heli's are not good for learning on... But it's just my humble opinion. |
